Steroids for SCU

7 yrs and counting with this horrible disease. My recent big flare-up has lasted 4 months now. Have stopped taking the steroids as they turned me a totally manic. Sadly the stopping coincided with a massive analphalactic episode (Adrenaline, ambulance etc) and my work having a total lack of understanding that I was manic because of the drugs not because I always am! Great to see a support network as I have felt very alone with this condition for a long time!
